John Fogerty, along with his brother Tom, formed the backbone of the band Creedence Clearwater Revival (also known as CCR). The band enjoyed a five-year run of success, from its formation in 1967 until its breakup in 1972.

In those five years, they released seven studio albums, many of which have become indispensable parts of music history. Now, more than 35 years later, John Fogerty still plays most of CCR's classics at his sold-out concerts.
