'Madame X' is Madonna's fourteenth studio album. Madonna's Portuguese base in recent years has had a strong creative influence on her which is clearly heard on Madame X. The album was recorded in Portugal as well as in London, New York and Los Angeles, for which Madonna worked with producers Diplo, Mike Dean and Mirwais, the French musician and producer with whom the singer has recorded several albums.
