After more than 20 years in the making, Peter Gabriel's new album i/o finally arrives on December 1st. It's his first album of completely new material since 2002's Up. All 12 tracks have been subjected to two stereo mixes: the Bright Side Mix, handled by Mark "Spike" Stent, and the Dark Side Mix, as edited by Tchad Blake. "We have two of the best mixers in the world in Tchad and Spike, and they definitely bring different characters to the songs.
Tchad is more of a sculptor who builds a journey with sound and drama, Spike loves sound and putting these images together, so he is more of a painter." Both versions are included on the double CD and are also available separately as a double vinyl album. A third version - the In-Side Mix, in Dolby Atmos, comes from Hans-Martin Buff and can be found on the Blu-ray. Contains: Digipak with 32p booklet and obi strip CD 1 - Bright-Side Mix CD 2 - Dark-Side Mix
