Three world-class stars join forces in this recording of Beethoven's Triple Concerto. Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Nicola Benedetti, and Benjamin Grosvenor were all BBC Young Musician of the Year and are close friends, but this is the first time they are heard together on a recording. The Philharmonia Orchestra is led by the young Finnish conductor Santtu-Matias Rouvali. The Times wrote: "Three soloists working in harmony without losing any of their distinct personalities. Cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason was the lyrical dreamer, violinist Nicola Benedetti was the lively energizer, and pianist Benjamin Grosvenor acted as a quicksilver mediator between the two. Their approach was virtuosic, sympathetic, and full of character."
